Produced by, Directed by, and Starring Scott Shaw, SAMURAI JOHNNY FRANKENSTEIN is a modern Film-Noir, Martial Art, Action-Adventure filmed in Los Angeles just after the 1992 riots.

Many of the players from Scott Shaw's, SAMURAI VAMPIRE BIKERS FROM HELL also appeared in this feature; including: Kenneth H. Kim, (who plays SAMURAI JOHNNY FRANKENSTEIN), Douglas Jackson, Roger Ellis, Selina Jayne, and Kimberly Bolin (who also appeared in the photo shoot with Scott for Draculina issue #18).

Douglas Jackson went on to work with Scott on Samurai Ballet.

Roger Ellis had originally worked with Scott on The Roller Blade Seven. After this film he went on to work with Scott on Max Hell Frog Warrior and Armageddon Blvd.

This film was co-produced and co-written by Kenneth H. Kim. Kenneth H. Kim has worked with Scott Shaw on such films as Capital Punishment, The Roller Blade Seven, Hollywood P.D. Undercover, Samurai Vampire Bikers From Hell, and The Final Kiss.

Independent features are always a team effort. Joel Ciniero and Joe Contreras provided great still photography, location, and Cinematography support throughout this production and Douglas Jackson provided great 1st A.D. help.

Trivia: The shooting title for Samurai Johnny Frankenstein was Atomic Samurai.
