Happiness Powers Activate

How happy are you? Really, how happy are you?
 
How happy are you right now in this moment?
 
How happy are you in the greater, grand scheme of your life?
 
For most, happiness is something that happens quite randomly. Some situation occurs or some person does something and that emotion appears. With this and from this, happiness is embraced. But, for most of the time, the feeling of happiness is absent from the common emotions of a person’s everyday life.
 
Think about this, how often do you feel happy?
 
Do you seek out people and situations that make you embrace this emotion? Or, is it vastly removed from your life as you are constrained by the stark reality of everyday existence?
 
Most people do not pursue a life based upon happiness. There are many other emotions that are seemingly far more of a driving factor for the existence of most. Emotions like anger, frustration, fear, jealousy, aggression are far more adrenaline inducing sensations.   
 
But, ask yourself, isn’t happiness a much better emotion to experience? Better than any emotion based in a negative mindset?
 
I remember when I was a young person, a teenager, waking the spiritual path. One of my teachers explained one day that a person could experience the sensation of love any time that they wished to. It did not need to be motivated by a person. You could simply find that feeling within yourself, consciously allow it to embrace you, and it would emanate from that internal place where it always exists, commonly only instigated by that someone else, who you are, “In love,” with. Anyone can simply find that place that is love, within yourself, and call it up.
 
This is a technique I have used many times in my life. Both in association with someone else, and by myself.
 
I suggest that everyone give this technique a try. If not right now, perhaps when you are in a quiet place and of the right mind.
 
The thing being, if you can cause the emotion of love to rise within yourself, you can also do this with the emotion of happiness. We each know what happiness feels like. And thus, by knowing this feeling, we have the ability to call it up, at any time, within ourselves.
 
Again, if not right now, when you are in the right frame of mind, test this, allow yourself to simply feel happy. You know the experience, simply call it up within yourself.
 
Many people spend much of their life embracing a very unhappy state of mind. Do you?
 
The thing is, this does not have to be the definition of an individual’s life.  You can be happy.
 
We all go through the trial and tribulations of life. We each are dealt the hand of cards that life deals us. This being said, this does not mean that we must be dominated by all of that outside, uncontrollable, stimuli. We can be in control of ourselves and our emotions.
 
You can be happy. You can be happy no matter what. You simply must choose to be happy.
 
Whenever you feel the need—whenever you need to, simply allow happiness to arise within you. You have the power. You can be happy.
 
Trust me, following the pathway of happiness is far better than most other corridors of life.
