Be Positive

Remembered After Death

The evil hand of Satan has struck again.

“Remembered After Death,” this is the headline I just saw regarding the death of this man from the Reality TV show, Storage Wars. I always liked that show…

As the story goes, the man took his own life a couple of days ago. It is said that this was based on the man being cyberbullied. That’s pretty fucked up!

I’ve spoken about this in the past, but I knew this one sweet young Starbucks barista that took her own life after her boyfriend broke up with her and then he stated putting all these lies about her out there on the interweb. Other people jumped in and it took her down.

That was several years ago, and I can only imagine the karma that her ex-boyfriend and all those people who chimed in ended up receiving, Of course, nobody ever thinks about that as they are doing it. But, if you don’t, you really should.

You know, just like in the case of the Storage Wars guy, you can turn off the Socials. But, some people just can’t do that. They get sucked in.

Actually, probably, the most disliked member of that cast, I see him all the time selling at the various flea markets around L.A. He posted a tribute to the man on IG. In it, he says he doesn’t read all the comments that he receives. That’s a good buffer zone, I believe. But, for some that’s hard.

As a martial artist for virtually my entire life, I’ve been witness to this style of behind the back sucker punching forever. There’s aways someone talking shit about someone else. I mean, just look to many of the vintage Hong Kong Kung Fu movies and you see it going on there, as well. I always felt that was so Not The True Marital Arts. And, anyone who partakes in that style of behavior is not a true martial artist. I mean, aren’t the martial arts and the martial artists supposed to be an ideal example of what is good and right and just and honorable?

Obviously, the facts are not all out there as of yet about what happened to the man. And, I’m not using his name as a means of respect. Apparently, the police are looking into it. But, whatever was taking place caused the man so much pain that he took his own life. Someone is responsible. And, whether they end up being legally prosecuted or not, life (eventually) comes down hard on those who spread negativity.

You know, this is something that you really need to think about as you live your life. Really, what are you saying and who are you hurting by saying and/or doing what you are saying and doing? If you’re hurting someone/anyone no matter how good and all powerfully that may make you feel in the moment, remember karma is an evil master and, sooner or later, you will be forced to pay.

Like I always say, the world begins with you. What you say and what you do has the potential to spread outwards from you and affect everyone and everything. And, if you’re saying or doing hurtful things, just because you do not experience the recompense right away, that does not mean that you are not in karma’s bullseye.

Only say, only do good and positive things. Attack no one. Because hurt only equals more hurt. Fix any pain you’ve caused. Make the world a better place! If you don’t, when the grim reaper comes calling for you, don’t ask for any sympathy.
