It’s kind of funny… Funny, I that inter-web sort of way But, there has been the meme trend going on for a bit now, where everyone is lip-syncing the first couple lyrics of the Tame Impala (Jennie) Remix song, Dracula.
 
I don’t know why it is, but the various people, (many a celebrity), has been pouring into my feed???
 
First of all, since it was released, and even its original music video… It’s a great song! The, whatever happened, happened and everyone is doing their bit with the piece now. Some of them are really-really great.
 
It all got me to kind of feeling a FOMO. Like I should really do it too.
 
I told it to my lady that we should do it. But, she’s really not that instantly camera ready like I am. Or, maybe better stated, “Camera willing.” Every time I have put her in a movie or a music video it has been against her better judgement. But me, I could totally rock it.
 
But… Like I said to her, “Who’s going to shoot us?”
 
Everyone who’s doing it is raging with confidence and/or that whatever as they do their bit. It like the total poser model vibe.
 
There’s this one guy who’s in my feed. Well, now I guess there’s a couple. But, this one guy started it out. He would just jump in front of someone on the street, unroll the red carpet, and have them do the cat walk. Some, you can just tell were/are total models once upon a time. I always thought having something like that happen would be an experience. But, you would have to be of the right mind.
 
Even me, way back in the way back when, I did my share of, “Walking,” back in Tokyo.
 
People say it’s mindless. But, it’s really not. You have to hold an essence to do it right. Maybe you could call it an arrogance.
 
For me, that was a million years ago. Though I did get a call last year… Someone wanting me to walk and to shoot me in NYC. I turned it down. Not enough $$$. But, maybe I shouldn’t have???
 
Anyway, there is some great goings-on with this current trend. It may be over tomorrow, but for now it is fun.
 
As for me, I guess I will just have to have Dracula FOMO.
