Be Positive
Have you ever had the experience where you are half awake and half asleep? Your mind is awake enough to know all that is going on around you, in this real life, but your mind is asleep enough to still be dreaming. You experience life but, like a vision on a TV screen, you are still living your dream as it is playing out.
The thing about this state of mind is, it keeps you from experiencing the truth of those individual realities to the fullest. Yes, you are alive and partially awake. You know your life is being lived. But, as you are only partially awake, you are not fully experiencing the reality you are living in your dream.
I believe that many people live their life in a very similar state of mind. Yes, they are awake. Yes, they are living their reality. But, as they are not fully present in that reality they are not fully embracing all that is taking place.
Most people, live their life as they live their life. They are driven by the defining factors of their life. But, it is not until they are sent into a state of enhanced emotional stimulation, driven by whatever factor may driving that state of mind, that they truly are in their moment and living their reality to the fullest.
Think about your own life. When have you been the most fully present? When have you been living your life in a state of totality? Most likely, that only has occurred when you were completed engulfed by some enhanced something.
I know in my own life, there will be times when I will catch myself. I will realize that I am not fully present. Though what is taking place around me may be beautiful, nice, happy-making, or whatever, my mind has found some reason to detach from the absolute reality of that moment. Then, I must catch myself and truly refocus on living that moment in its totality.
The thing is, there are a million distractions in life. There are a million things to take your mind away from truly living your moment. But, most of them hold no true meaning to your life. They are daydreams, thinking about the plot of some movie you saw, replaying a catchy song that you like in your mind, reenacting some moment you lived with some other person that you wish would have played out differently. And, the list goes on and on. But, all of those things do is to take you to reality that is not fully real. They take you to a place that exists only in your own mind. Those things create a mental space that keeps you from truly living and experiencing the true reality of where you find yourself in your real life.
Truly, how many of the small moments of your life do you even remember? Why don't you remember them? Because you were not living them to the fullest.
This is an essential point to keep in mind if you hope to truly be present in all of your moments and to truly live your life. Do not let yourself be distracted by things that do not really matter and will not make your true reality a better reality. Remember, truly live your moment because at the end of your days that will be the only thing that will have made up your life.
