The Days Pass By
I believe it is very interest how the days of our life pass by. Most days just come and go, lost to the realities of this reality. Other days, somehow, they grab a hold of us. Yet, at the end of our days, which for each of us comes way too soon, they, our memories, are long gone. Remember that.

Anyway, and so how it goes, this is the reality of our life. We are here. We live what we live. We do what we do. And then, we are gone. Like I always question, “Who will remember your memories when you are no more?”
Me, as the night progressed on this day, I lived what I live. I wish I could make the, “I,” larger somehow. But, the I, it just is, what it is.
I killed a bottle of the grape. Maybe more?
I watch the newly released documentary about Martin Mull on Netflix, Who is Martin Mull. Pretty good. Sad, the guy who put it all in motion, Bob Saget died before its completion. Martin is now gone, as well. …As are other of the participants.
I worked with Martin Mull, once upon a time, in the long ago, and the far-far way. It was when I was first breaking into the film game. “The Industry,” as is its so-called title. I was cast in what was then known as an, “Industrial.” Now, most commonly called an, “Infomercial.” It was like a talk show setting. I was a spaced-out heavy metal dude named, Ace. Martin was the wrangler of all those who fell before him. I met Douglas Jackson on that set. The man who I later cast as Lucas in the Zen Film, Samurai Vampire Bikers from Hell. I also cast him in Samurai Johnny Frankenstein and Samurai Ballet. In the Mull piece, he was cast as a priest. Good dude!
I always liked the work of Mull.
After that doc I watched the film, Lucky, starring Harry Dean Stanton, with a cameo by David Lynch. Good movie. Simple, but interesting.
After that, I popped over to YouTube to see what music videos the great mind of the great beyond would conjure up for me. Interesting selection: DAD, Sleeping My Days Away, The Palms, Maybe, Keith Urban, The Fighter, Patrick Martin, Dandelion Eyes, HIM, Wings of a Butterly, Slowdive, Kisses. Finally, Mouth Ulcers, A Perfect End. An interesting conclusion, I thought. It was all kind of like the AM of who I AM.
So, this was my moment of life. What was your moment of life? What did you do, defined by who you are and what was available to you? What did you watch, defined by who you are? What did you listen to, defined by who you are? And maybe, most importantly, how does the great beyond of the Out There define who you are, what you watched, what you listened to, and how you felt?
Were they, The Great Mind, right or wrong?
