Be Positive
If you listen to the conversations that are going on outside of yourself, if you listen to what people are discussing, if you truly take a look and listen to what your own mind is thinking about, what you will find is that most people are rarely, if ever, in their own NOW. Instead, they are thinking about and discussing things outside of themselves. They speak about other people, what other people have accomplished, what other people are doing, what they think about other people and other life situations. Or, they discuss what they WANT or wish to become or have. They attempt to guide their focus onto other people and other life situations. And, they endeavor to influence the direction of that/of any discussion in the direction of the way they believe what others should believe. And, they lie. They lie to coverup their own motivations(s) in all that they speak, live, and/or do.
How often do you truly contemplate what you are saying, doing, and most importantly, what you are thinking about? What do you think about?
How often do you even make the mental effort to control what you are thinking about, leading to what you say and what you do?
For most/for many they never even contemplate this process. They are so locked into the whatever it is that their mind is locked onto, motivated by whatever motivates them, that they never possess the mental wherewithal to truly take control over their mind and guide in it towards a pure and/or positive direction. How about you? Truly, how much time do you spend focusing your mind, taking control over your thoughts, and guiding them, (what you think), towards a pure and positive direction?
One of the key problems of the human race is that they are very egocentric. They only possess the energy to focus on what they are thinking about and what they are feeling. If what they are thinking and feeling is good and positive, then they unleash that onto the world around them. If, on the other hand, what they are thinking and feeling is based in a state of ego-driven hurt-full-ness, than that is what they release to the world.
The problem in and of all of this is that most people cannot remove the, “I,” from the equation. They cannot think outside of the box of, “I.” Even if they truly care about one specific someone else, or even one group of someone elses, that motivation is based in, “I.” What they like or love. Thus, all they do arises from a space of selfishness.
Truly, where do you find yourself in this understanding? Where do you find yourself in life? Are you thinking good thoughts, equaling good deeds, creating helpful realities, or are you only thinking about yourself? Do you ever take the time to develop the ability to truly control your mind, (what you think and why you think it), equally a better reality not only for yourself, but for all?
