Be Positive
I was listening to News Radio today while I was driving. One of the tales they told was about this Reality TV Star and the troubles she was currently facing.
What I’ve seen of her on TV is that she was a person who was always going after others in a backhanded, seditious sort of way. She caused a lot of grief to others. Now, here she is crying out, “Woe is me!” She wants everyone to feel sorry for her and to come to her aid.
You know, the thing is, people never look at the causation factor(s) of the negative karma that hits them. At best, all they do is cry out and want to tell the everybody who will listen to them, “Look what’s happening to me. HELP!!!”
I mean, think about it. Think about your own life. Think about when something negative befalls you. Who do you blame? Do you blame the something or the someone out there? Or, do you take a long hard look at yourself and see how you may have set a course of events into motion that led you to where you find yourself?
I think the answer to those questions are obvious. But, maybe you are different. I don’t know???
Here are a couple of things to think about:
Most people do not care about the negative impact they are having on the life of other people unless they desire to hurt them, they only care about what they are feeling and experiencing.
Most people never look at themselves, and the negative karma they have created, as the causation factor for any negativity entering their life.
The fact is, no one truly understands karma. Though philosophers, including myself, have been detailing the various aspects of karma since the birth of this understanding, there is no absolute formal.
This being said, there is a pattern that can be traced. You do or say bad things to and/or about other people, you cause pain to the life of other people, or this Life-Space, you lie, you cheat, you steal, you hurt, and negative things will come at you. We’ve all witnessed it. We’ve all seen it. All you have to do is to look to know that this is true.
But, when something negative happens to you, how often do you blame yourself?
This is just something to keep in mind as you pass through your existence. Yeah, you can always find someone or something else to blame. But, what about when the truth be told, you are the one to blame?
Think about it.
