Be Positive

Living Consciousness Other Than Your Own

Most people live in a space of consciousness that is solely defined by their own specific view of reality. They enter life, they pass through their life, yet the only life they even consider is their own. Of course, they will deny this fact. But, in their denial, their truth is revealed.

Right now, ask yourself, who are you thinking about? If you were to describe your upcoming day, what are you doing and why? Truly, look deeply into yourself when answering these questions. What is your true inner motivation for what you are about to do?

For some, they may state that they are thinking about their family, and what they are doing they are doing for them: be that going to work, cleaning the house, or whatever. But, look deeper, and who is at the inception point of that proclamation? It is
they thinking about them. It is they believe that what they are doing they are doing for them. It is they that desired them in the first place.

Mental situations like this also occur when a person is perhaps young and in love. All they think about is that other individual. All they want to do is that other individual. But, at the sourcepoint in all of this is the fact that the person is, “In love.”  That part of them is being simulated by that other individual. Therfore, they are willing to do anything to keep that feeling alive. Thus, who are they really doing what for and why?

Most people never contemplate any of this. They never question the why they do what they do. Do you?

There are some people, (few in numbers), that actually go out of their way and walk a pathway of very consciously trying to help others. But, here is where all of this gets very complicated. Why are they doing it? What is their reasoning? And, what is their reward? The fact being, virtually no one chooses to do anything unless there is some form of payment or reward.

We could look to those who do bad and hurtful things to others in this scenario. But, I believe, we can all agree that anyone who operates from that life-perspective is functioning at the lowest level of human consciousness. So, at least within this piece, we do not need to peer into their mindset.

It is all of the others that pass through their life with very little predetermined thought or ideology that we should study. Who are they thinking about and why? What is motivating their actions and why? In fact, what we really need to study is, what makes you do what you do and why? And, how often do you think or even care about how your action will affect others?

Most people exist throughout their life based upon a very selfish perspective. Though most will deny this fact, it is, none-the-less, a fact.

Truly take a long hard look at yourself—a long hard look at the things you have done in your life, and the things you are planning to do. Who is at your helm and what is the motivation?

So, what are you going to do next and why are you going to do it? Who will it benefit? Who will it hurt? And, why are you doing any of it?

Ask yourself these questions before you ever do anything. Maybe they will not only make you a more conscious individual, but it may even help the overall landscape of the world to become a better place.
