Pink Slip
I picked up this very cool vintage brief case at the thrift store the other day. When I got it home and looked inside I noticed that it had the pick slips (the titles) for two cars inside. Does that mean that I now also own those cars.
The finny/interesting thing was, one of the pink slips was for a 1987 Suzuki. I actually owned a 1986 Suzuki. They were those convertible jeep type cars that hit the U.S. market for a moment. I know they were released in Hawaii and other places around the globe sooner than that, but not on the Mainland. I bought mine the first day they were released. They quickly sold out, at least for a moment, as they were very 1980s cool. I really liked that car. I kept it until in died in maybe ’92.
The other pink slip was for a 2006 Toyota. I smiled… I had one of those, as well. I purchased that as a drive-around. But, it served its purpose well. Served its purpose until I got sideswiped by the crazy dude in a junky old Ford pickup. You readers of this blog may remember I spoke about all of goings-on of that a few years ago. It was at a time when though my insurance immediately gave me the money for the car, as it was totaled, but as it was during the pandemic it was literally impossible to buy a new car for a long time. I had to ride my motorcycle and drive around in my lady’s car.
Anyway, I just think it’s funny/interesting how all life is somehow interconnected. Weird things happen that must mean something. But, what do they mean???
I mean, two pink slips, both from cars I once owed. How could that be? What does it mean? And, what can I/should I do with that gift/information???
