You Look Hot
Kinda funny…
I went into a store today and I noticed that there was this one young lady working there who was wearing a trench coat and gloves. My first thought was that she must be one of those people that are perpetually cold, so she is wearing that outfit to keep warm.
Didn’t think too much about it…
When I went to check out, I made the comment, “You look hot,” not thinking too much about the implications of what I was saying. A big smile came on her face, “Thanks.” Then I realized that we are almost at Halloween, and all of the employees in the store were dressed up in some sort of a costume. Her’s must have been a flasher.
Though it wasn’t my intention, I’m glad I provided her with a compliment.
This just goes to the reality of life and how we interpret life. I saw one thing. I interpreted it as one thing. But, what I deduced was completely wrong from what was actually taking place. It was only based upon my interpretation of another person’s reality based upon the information I possessed.
Think about this for a moment… How many times have you thought one thing about a person, you interpreted their reality for them, but what you thought was completely wrong?
How many times has someone done that to you? They assumed they knew what you were doing, and why you were doing it, but they were completely off base.
This is just something to keep in mind as you pass through life. What you think about a person, what you believe they are doing, and/or why they are doing it, is rarely, if ever, the way they are interrupting their own reality. You are wrong. They are right. Why? Because right is only based in the mind of the individual. It is never based upon your interpretation of what they are thinking or why they are doing what they are doing.
